Beyond The Fog

THE STORY:

Sitting at the highest point of the Demerji mountain, Dimitri Bogachuk shot this image during an exploration of the Crimia demi-island. This time of day highlights their individual shape, as they wait to peek beyond the fog. The size and scale of each mountain is humbled by a majestic lighting that invites us to sit and listen while they share their memories of wisdom and history.

‘’I organized the first and only photography fair in Kyiv, that created the scene in Ukraine. My projects embody a synthesis of artistic traits from the palette of French Impressionism, to sweeping bands of color, and the atmospheric qualities of minimalism.’’
