Eliška Bartek intentionally attempts to draw our attention to the beauty, confidence and grace in such bold and bright colors. Each flower with a distinct story to tell about it’s journey to this very moment that can only be truly understood and appreciated when leaning in closer.

‘’I believe nature is always one day ahead of culture - But these flowers are more: they are terribly beautiful, dangerous, melancholic and romantic. I’m interested in the unconscious, the apparent and the implied mystical, which seems to be hidden behind what is depicted and not depicted.’’
